Family News

Jeremy will complete his prison term this year. He is applying for an Inter-State transfer so that he can serve his parole in Texas. We have sent him the money to begin this process and have initiated an invitation for him to live with us. In order for Texas to consider his application, he needs a guarantee of a place to live and a job. A friend of ours from church has agreed to give him a job as a construction helper. Please pray that his application for the transfer will be approved and he can come home in a timely manner.

Jason and Anna and the boys continue to do well. Nathaniel turned 8 in February and is finishing 2nd grade. Caleb just turned 6 and he is finishing Kindergarten. Evan will turn 3 in August. Each year for their birthday they get to have a weekend birthday bash doing fun activities with Grandma and Grandpa!

In November, we drove to Manitoba, Canada to move Verna’s mother from a full-care room in the Steinbach Maplewood Manor to a one-bedroom apartment in the same Complex. Mom is really enjoying her new independence, the privacy and extra space that an apartment gives her.
