Robert’s work

In May and June, Robert took part in a grueling workshop, where 10 people attempted to write, edit, and format the Translator’s Notes on the Book of Mark in four months. The team celebrated their success with a group dinner at the Golden Corral restaurant. Currently, Robert is editing the Translator’s Notes on the Book of Revelations.

Verna’s Ministry

Verna is faithfully counseling the singles, couples, and families whom the Lord brings her way. She has almost completed her 3000 counseling hour requirement for licensure in the State of Texas.

Summer Ministry Trip

Sight-seeing in the Colorado Rockies

Sight-seeing in the
Colorado Rockies

We left Dallas on August 7th for a road trip that took us through Colorado, Utah, California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba and brought us back home on September 15th. We visited and prayed with scores of friends, prayer partners, and financial supporters. We spoke in five churches and in one home group – a total of nine meetings.

One of the highlights of the trip was the opportunity to visit our son, Jeremy, who is incarcerated in prison in California. We had not seen him for almost five years.

Israel Trip

In October, the Lord blessed Verna with the opportunity to accompany our church on a tour to the Holy Land.
